Origin Specialty Underwriters Agency LLC, a Rolling Meadows, Illinois-based managing general agent, launched a captives division focused on middle-market companies.
Origin Captive Solutions will initially concentrate on property captives, the company said in a statement.
Daniel Rossen, who joined Origin last year from ICW Group, will head the division.
Origin is a unit of Phoenix-based Beyond Risk Management Inc., which also owns captive manager GPW Associates.
