MSIG USA, a unit of Japanese insurer MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings Inc., said Thursday it has hired former Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. executives Dan Riordan, Richard Abizaid and Javier Gomez to lead its political risk and credit insurance business in the United States.
Washington-based Mr. Riordan was previously global head of political risk and credit at Vantage. Before that, he was president of political risk, credit and bond at Axa XL, a unit of Axa SA. and spent 18 years at Zurich Insurance Group Ltd.
Mr. Abizaid, also based in Washington, was a senior vice president at Vantage and had worked at Axa XL and Zurich. New York-based Mr. Gomez was a vice president at Vantage.
