Montana to consider barring undocumented workers from comp

Montana lawmakers are considering a bill that would make undocumented workers ineligible for workers compensation if they are injured on the job.

H.B. 805, introduced Wednesday, adds to the definition of employee “aliens who are lawfully employed.” The bill would also allow insurers to cancel benefits to injured workers who leave the country.
