Kathleen Savio has joined Brown & Brown Inc. as a board director following her retirement as chief transformation officer of Zurich Insurance Group, the brokerage announced Wednesday.
Ms. Savio, who retired Dec. 31, worked at Zurich for 32 years, beginning as an entry-level technical writer and held various marketing and communications roles before taking on operational responsibilities.
Prior to being named chief transformation officer in 2021, she was CEO of Zurich North America for three years.
Ms. Savio was named one of the 2015 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
