Transactional risk insurance brokerage launches

Castle Harbour Insurance LLC, a New York-based transactional risk insurance brokerage founded by a former Alliant Insurance Services Inc. executive, launched Tuesday.
Incorporated by Managing Partner Austin Cahill, formerly tax insurance practice leader at Alliant, Castle Harbor will focus on placing tax insurance, representations & warranties insurance, litigation insurance, and contingent risk insurance, the company said in a statement.
Other managing partners include David Cohen, a former Alliant managing director; Penny Mavridis Sales, a former principal at KPMG LLP; and Jeffrey Lash, a former senior vice president at Euclid Transactional LLC.
Partners include Ryan Davis, who was previously at KPMG and Alliant before joining Colby Advisory in 2022, and David Tawil, a co-founder of ProChain Capital, the statement said.
