WTW names director of North America construction broking

Willis Towers Watson PLC on Monday named Meredith Baron, formerly a construction specialist at Axa XL, as director of broking – construction, North America.

Ms. Baron previously was an underwriting manager in Axa XL’s construction business, where she focused on large, complex programs nationwide.

Philadelphia-based Ms. Baron joined Axa XL, a unit of Axa SA, in 2008 as a technical specialist in its surplus lines operations before moving into construction underwriting in 2012.
