ICW Group launches specialty unit, names Tracey Estes CUO

ICW Group Insurance Cos. on Friday announced the launch of ICW Specialty, and the appointment of Tracey Estes as the unit’s chief underwriting officer.

ICW Specialty is a new business unit operating through its excess and surplus lines insurer, VerTerra Insurance, the company said in its announcement.

New York-based Ms. Estes will join ICW Specialty after completing her current duties at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group, where she has been head of casualty since May 2024. She was one of the 2022 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
