Hamilton appoints top executives

Hamilton Insurance Group Ltd. on Tuesday named Adrian Daws CEO of Hamilton Re, based in Bermuda.
Alex Baker was named CEO of Hamilton Global Specialty, based in London, succeeding Mr. Daws. Both appointments are subject to regulatory approvals.
Mr. Daws will succeed Megan Graves, who has decided to retire, effective Dec. 31.
Tim Duffin was appointed to the newly created role of group chief underwriting officer, based in Bermuda, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
Mr. Daws, Mr. Baker and Mr. Duffin will be part of the executive management team, reporting to Group CEO Pina Albo.
Mr. Daws was appointed CEO of Hamilton Global Specialty in 2020. He joined Hamilton in 2015 as head of specialty and deputy active underwriter and prior to that was head of specialty at CNA Hardy.
Mr. Baker was appointed group chief risk officer in 2022. He joined Hamilton in 2016 as chief risk officer and chief actuary at Hamilton Global Specialty.
Mr. Duffin was named CUO of Hamilton Re in 2017. He joined Hamilton in 2012 as senior vice president, property.
