Marine MGU offering warehouse legal liability cover

Timby Specialty Insurance Solutions, a registered series of Mission Underwriting Managers LLC, Wednesday announced the launch of its warehouse legal liability coverage tailored for public and contract warehouses that handle third-party property.

The coverage offers limits up to $5 million per location and is available to Timby’s appointed agents and brokers, the inland marine managing general underwriter said in a statement.

The coverage also offers options covering additional activities including the handling, repacking, and processing of stored goods.

Target industries for the coverage include public and contract warehouse operations engaged in the business of storing others’ property for a fee, including handling and processing operations.
