Foresight expands comp service offerings

Foresight, a workers compensation insurtech focusing on the middle market, on Thursday announced an expansion including four new class codes and 23 incidental adjacencies for customers in the agribusiness, construction and manufacturing industry sectors.? 

New classes of business include janitorial and three companion class codes, poultry farming, dairy farms, hog and sheep farming and stock farms, along with 23 incidental class codes Foresight says enhances its existing ability to write winery, farm store, and stable business.  

These expansions come after closing a $39 million Series B round and a 55% increase in the size of the underwriting team since January, according to the company.
