A bill introduced in Connecticut’s senate on Thursday would expand the state’s existing workers compensation law on post-traumatic stress injuries to make claims compensable for all employees.
S.B. 321 repeals and replaces an existing statute providing compensation to frontline workers for post-traumatic stress injuries incurred in the line of duty during the COVID-19 pandemic, reinstating the rules and extending eligibility to all employees.
The bill was referred to the Joint Committee on Labor and Public Employees where it is pending.
