MSIG USA appoints Philip Wray head of property

MSIG USA, a unit of Japanese insurer Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. Ltd., on Wednesday named Philip Wray head of property.

He replaces Marc Dantuono, who has retired.

Mr. Wray previously was executive vice president of property. He joined MSIG USA in 2015 from Tokio Marine Global, where he was president.

Before that, he held various senior roles at Swiss Re Ltd., Lloyd’s of London, Winterthur International UK Ltd. and Zurich Insurance Co. Ltd.
