Aon names a managing director

Aon PLC said Monday it has named former Axis Capital Holdings Ltd. executive Eric Seyfried managing director in its cyber solutions group.

He will also serve as a strategic adviser on the cyber solutions leadership committee, the broker said.

Mr. Seyfried will be based in New York City and report to Brent Rieth, Aon’s global cyber leader.

Mr. Seyfried was most recently head of errors and omissions and cyber underwriting at Axis. Previously he had been Aon’s chief broking officer and East Region leader.
