Axa XL hires from Lexington, Munich Re for wholesale roles

Axa XL on Monday announced two appointments to its Americas wholesale solutions team.

The insurer named former Lexington Insurance executive Betsy Higgens as head of casualty, wholesale solutions, and former Munich Re Specialty executive Megan Kelley as head of product, wholesale solutions.

Based in Boston, Ms. Higgens was most recently head of field, Lexington casualty.

Ms. Kelley, also based in Boston, was most recently head of excess casualty for Munich Re Specialty.

Lucy Pilko, CEO of Axa XL Americas, said in a statement that excess and surplus “remains a strategic area of growth.”
