MSIG, Coalition partner on cyber offering

MSIG USA on Thursday said it will collaborate with Coalition to launch a cyber insurance offering for MSIG’s U.S. clients.

The new MSIG USA-Coalition cyber insurance program provides primary cyber coverage for multinational businesses purchasing insurance coverages from MSIG USA internationally and operating in the U.S.

Limits being offered are up to $10 million, according to an email from a spokeswoman.

The program will begin binding businesses in August 2025.

This new program expands the existing global partnership between Coalition and MS&AD Insurance Group, which includes a $30 million equity investment for Coalition from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, a member of MS&AD; a multiyear capacity agreement between MSI and Coalition in Australia; and a collaboration on cybersecurity solutions for small and midsize businesses in Japan via Coalition’s cyber risk management platform, Coalition Control.
