Marsh names global head of aviation, space

Marsh said Thursday it has named Brian Glod global head of aviation and space and Tony Ambrose global chairman of aviation and space, effective Sept. 1.

Mr. Glod, most recently regional aviation and space practice leader, U.S., is based in New York. He will join Marsh’s global specialty executive committee and report to Andrew George, president of Marsh Specialty.

Mr. Ambrose, most recently CEO of aviation, is based in London and will report to Dominic Samengo-Turner, CEO, Marsh Specialty, U.K., and Mr. Glod.

In their new roles, Mr. Glod and Mr. Ambrose will be responsible for Marsh’s aviation and space business worldwide.

Marsh also named Patton Kline to succeed Mr. Glod as regional aviation and space practice leader, U.S. He will have overall responsibility for Marsh’s U.S. aviation and space business.

Mr. Kline will be based in New York and report to Michael Pellegrini, Marsh Specialty Leader for U.S. and Canada, and Mr. Glod.
