Greggains succeeds Kerr at Novatae

Novatae Risk Group said Monday that former CEO Richard Kerr left the company effective Aug. 22 and named its president, Nick Greggains, as his successor.

Mr. Kerr formed wholesaler Novatae’s predecessor company MarketScout in 2000. He was named CEO of Novatae when it was formed by World Insurance Associates through its purchase of MarketScout in 2022.

Mr. Greggains joined Dallas-based Novatae earlier this year from Irwin Siegel Agency, a unit of Ryan Specialty.

“We wish Richard well in his new endeavors and thank him for his dedication and contributions during the past three years,” Rich Eknoian, CEO of World Insurance, said in a statement.
