Hub wholesale unit reorganizes operations

Specialty Program Group, the specialty broking and underwriting unit of Hub International, announced Monday that it is consolidating its wholesale business under one name.

Monarch E&S, Beacon Hill Associates, Specialty Wholesale Insurance Solutions, Capitol Special Risk and JDM & Associates will all operate at SPG Wholesale, the company said.

SPG is the sixth-largest specialty intermediary and fifth-largest wholesaler, according to Business Insurance’s most recent rankings.
