ICW hires former Everest executive to head excess casualty unit

ICW Group announced Tuesday that it has hired Jake Sokol as head of excess casualty for its newly formed specialty unit.

Previously, he was head of national accounts excess casualty at Everest Insurance.

He will be based in Atlanta alongside Tracy Estes, who was named chief underwriting officer of ICW Specialty in June, ICW said.

The excess casualty division is expected to launch next year, the company said.
