Former Everest executive Mulray joins Hamilton’s E&S unit

Mike Mulray, a former Everest Insurance executive, has joined Hamilton Insurance as chief underwriting officer of its U.S. excess and surplus lines business, Hamilton Select.

Jamie Secor, the previous CUO, joined W.R. Berkley in August.

Mr. Mulray joined Everest in 2015 and was named president of North American insurance in 2023 before leaving last year.

Prior to Everest, he spent 10 years in risk management at General Electric.

He will report to Anita Kuchma, CEO of Hamilton Select.
