Baldwin reinsurance unit opens office in London

Juniper Re LLC, the reinsurance broking unit of Tampa, Florida-based The Baldwin Insurance Group Inc., said Thursday it has opened an office in London.

Nick Hawke, who previously held senior property reinsurance positions at Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC and the former reinsurance operations of Willis Towers Watson PLC, will head the office, a Juniper Re statement said.

Baldwin launched Juniper Re in 2023. Last year, it opened an office in Bermuda.
