Chubb names leaders in international business unit

Chubb Ltd. Monday named Tim Stapleton to the newly created role of chief underwriting officer, overseas general insurance.

New York-based Mr. Stapleton previously was executive vice president, financial lines, for the division, which handles the insurer’s international business. He joined Chubb in London in 2015.

Mr. Stapleton will report to Paul McNamee, president of overseas general.

Chicago-based Jason Neu will succeed Mr. Stapleton. Previously, he was executive vice president, financial lines, for Westchester Surplus Lines Insurance Co., Chubb’s wholesale unit.

Last week, Chubb announced a reorganization of Westchester.
