Dawn D’Onofrio named EVP, global CUO of Ryan underwriting unit

Ryan Specialty LLC Tuesday named Dawn D’Onofrio executive vice president, global chief underwriting officer, of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, its specialty underwriting unit.

She reports to Miles Wuller, CEO of Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers, in the newly created role.

Miami-based Ms. D’Onofrio previously was CEO of WKFC Underwriting Managers Inc., AgRisk Underwriters and Ryan Specialty’s national programs business.

Ms. D’Onofrio was a Business Insurance 2016 Women to Watch winner.

This begins a 90-day transition of WKFC and AgRisk to Velocity Risk Underwriters LLC, which Ryan Specialty acquired earlier this month.

Ravi Singhvi, president of WKFC will continue to lead WKFC and AgRisk as the attritional property specialty business of the merged entity, Ryan Specialty said in a statement.
