Chubb names Ana Robic regional president of EMEA

Chubb Ltd. Wednesday named Ana Robic regional president of Europe, Middle East and Africa and promoted Melissa Scheffler to succeed her as division president of its personal lines business in North America.
Ms. Robic succeeds David Furby, senior vice president, Chubb Group, who was named executive chairman of Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In her new position, effective April 1, Ms. Robic will have executive operating responsibility for Chubb’s European business, including the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Chubb Global Markets, the Middle East and Africa.
She will report to Paul McNamee, executive vice president, Chubb Group, and president, Chubb Overseas General Insurance.
Ms. Robic, a 2016 Business Insurance Women To Watch honoree, last year was named senior vice president, Chubb Group, in addition to her prior role as division president, North America personal risk services. She joined Chubb in 1999.
As division president of North America personal risk services, Ms. Scheffler will report to Juan Luis Ortega, executive vice president, Chubb Group, and president, Chubb North America. She also becomes vice president, Chubb Group.
Ms. Scheffler is currently chief operating officer of North America personal risk services.
