Ascot Group Ltd. on Wednesday named former Arch Insurance Group Inc. executive Brian Chiolan to the newly created position of executive vice president, management and professional liability.
Previously, Mr. Chiolan was an executive vice president at Arch, which he joined in 2009.
New York-based Mr. Chiolan will oversee Ascot’s U.S. management liability, financial institutions, professional liability and cyber businesses, an Ascot statement said.
He will report to Matt Kramer, CEO, U.S. insurance, at the insurer and reinsurer, which has operations at Lloyd’s of London and in Bermuda.
