Baldwin names Leslie Nylund to new role

Baldwin Insurance Group Inc. Friday named Leslie Nylund national director for broking and insurance company partnerships.

New York-based Ms. Nylund was previously national managing director, strategic growth initiatives, at the Tampa, Florida-based brokerage.

She joined Baldwin in 2019 and was one of the 2006 Business Insurance Women to Watch when she was at Willis Towers Watson PLC.

In addition, Baldwin named Matt Kashdin national director of client engagement. Mr. Kashdin joined Baldwin in 2011 as an analyst and has held various leadership roles, the brokerage said in a statement.
