Novatae hires MGA executive Greggains as president

Novatae Risk Group, the wholesale unit of World Insurance Associates LLC, said it has hired Nick Greggains, a former Ryan Specialty Holdings Inc. and Ascot US Holding Corp. executive, as president.

Mr. Greggains joined Irwin Siegel Agency, a Ryan Specialty unit, last September. Before that, he was CEO of Ascot US’s Ethos Specialty Insurance Services LLC and prior to that was CEO of New York-based Pioneer Underwriters US.

At Dallas-based Novatae, he will work with CEO Richard Kerr and focus on improving underwriting discipline and developing growth strategies, a Novatae statement said.

Iselin, New Jersey-based World Insurance formed Novatae to house its wholesale business in 2022.
