Venbrook names transportation practice lead

Venbrook Group LLC Wednesday named transportation risk specialist David Hicks as senior vice president, transportation practice lead.

Mr. Hicks will build out Venbrook’s transportation division, focusing on risk management and safety strategies for trucking and fleet companies.

Greater Sacramento, California-based Mr. Hicks previously was vice president at James G. Parker Insurance Associates and prior to that worked in transportation at Hub International Ltd.

He will report to Jeff Lang, executive vice president, retail services division.
