Hub buys Illinois brokerage

Hub International Ltd. Thursday said it acquired Dansig Inc., which does business as Dansig Insurance Risk Advisors, a Decatur, Illinois-based brokerage.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Dansig, which has about 30 employees, offers commercial and personal insurance, and employee benefits services. Daniel Reynolds, president and CEO, and staff will join Hub Midwest West.
The brokerage will be referred to as Dansig Insurance Risk Advisors, a Hub International company.
