Patriot Growth promotes John Galaviz to president

Patriot Growth Insurance Services LLC announced Tuesday it promoted Chief Financial Officer John Galaviz to the newly created role of president.

Mr. Galaviz joined Patriot, a Fort Washington, Pennsylvania-based brokerage, in August 2023 and was previously CFO at Relation Insurance. He is based in Los Angeles and will continue to report to Chairman and CEO Matt Gardner, the brokerage said.

Patriot launched in 2019 with backing from Boston-based, private-equity firm Summit Partners LP and is currently the 24th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent rankings.
