Ryan Specialty’s hotel industry-focused MGU appoints new president

Ryan Specialty Holdings Inc. announced Thursday the appointment of Chris Kelleher as president of its hotel and resort industry-focused managing general underwriter, Suitelife, part of the Ryan Specialty Underwriting Managers division.

Mr. Kelleher will succeed Suitelife’s current president, John Welty, who is retiring effective June 30.

Mr. Kelleher, based in Cockeysville, Maryland, will continue to serve as president of Ryan Specialty’s national specialty programs, dealer services and self-storage programs.

Suitelife is an MGU for hotels, hotel management companies and resorts that provides all-lines and risk management programs.
