Everen Specialty appoints Carla Greaves as CUO

Everen Specialty Ltd. Friday named former Axa XL executive Carla Greaves chief underwriting officer.

Ms. Greaves will also join the executive leadership team of the Everen Group later this year, the Bermuda-based energy market insurer and reinsurer said in a statement.

She most recently was global CUO for casualty at Axa XL in Bermuda.

Ms. Greaves was a 2021 Business Insurance Women to Watch honoree.

She succeeds Jane Peterson, interim CUO, who will continue in a consulting capacity to facilitate the transition.
