Berkshire specialty unit adds Canadian executive lines

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance announced Tuesday the launch of an executive lines suite of products for private companies in Canada.

The program is led by Shaun Lue, who was named assistant vice president, private company leader, executive lines.

The suite provides up to $25 million in policy limits and includes crime, directors and officers liability, fiduciary liability, employment practices liability and Side A differences in conditions coverage.

Mr. Lue, based in Toronto, joined BHSI in 2021 as a senior underwriter for executive lines and was promoted to assistant vice president of executive lines in 2023.
