Choice Financial Group, a Virginia Beach, Virginia-based insurance agency, Tuesday named Michael J. Andersen, formerly a president at AssuredPartners Inc., as president and chief operating officer.
In the newly created role, Mr. Andersen will lead and oversee all agency operations and will be a member of the executive team, Choice Financial said.
Mr. Andersen was most recently the president of AssuredPartners’ lawyers practice and wholesale operations in New Jersey. Prior to that, he was an area executive vice president at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
Choice Financial, with 18 offices in eight states, is backed by private equity firm Northlane Capital Partners.
