AssuredPartners names Sean Smith president

AssuredPartners Inc. on Monday named Sean Smith as president of the Orlando, Florida-based brokerage, including retail and wholesale segments.

Mr. Smith most recently was CEO of Accretive Insurance Solutions, AssuredPartners’ specialty wholesale and program administration unit that launched in 2022.

Paul Vredenburg previously held the role of president. AssuredPartners did not respond to a request for comment.

AssuredPartners is the 11th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
