Alliant Insurance Services Inc. Tuesday named former Willis Towers Watson PLC executive Jason Bertoldi to the newly created role of global team leader, litigation & contingent risk insurance.
Mr. Bertoldi assists clients in obtaining contingent risk insurance policies and structuring transactions that incorporate insurance policies as investment collateral, Alliant said in a statement.
He is based in New York City and reports to Peter Arkley, president of national retail brokerage, according to an email from a spokeswoman.
Mr. Bertoldi most recently headed the North American contingent risk business for WTW.
Previously, he was a member of the litigation investing team at D.E. Shaw & Co. Prior to joining the investment company in 2019, he was an associate at law firm Susman Godfrey LLP.
