Gallagher buys Indianapolis agency

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said Wednesday it acquired M.J. Schuetz Insurance Services Inc., an Indianapolis-based agency with expertise in construction, landscaping, manufacturing and real estate.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Schuetz Insurance, with about 30 employees, provides property/casualty, surety and bonding services in the Midwest.

Dave Linthicum, president, and Vice Presidents Mike Corcoran, Jenni Waggoner, Stella Milli, Pamela Kreeb and staff will remain in their current location under the direction of Sean Gallagher, head of Gallagher’s Great Lakes region retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
