Alliant opens Honolulu office, names executives

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. Thursday said it has opened a Honolulu office and named former Aon PLC executives Chad Karasaki as managing director and Michael Grossi as executive vice president.

This is the firm’s second office location in Hawaii, alongside Hilo, Alliant said in a statement.

Mr. Karasaki will lead the Honolulu office with a focus on hospitality, retail, construction and development.

Mr. Grossi specializes in surety, owner-controlled insurance program and captive programs, working with contractors, developers and large commercial insurance accounts, the statement said.

Mr. Karasaki was most recently chairman, CEO and resident managing director for Aon Risk Services Inc. of Hawaii.

Mr. Grossi was most recently managing director, executive vice president for Aon Risk Services.
