Aon names Moore Bermuda CEO

Aon PLC Monday named Nick Moore CEO of its Bermuda operations, replacing Joe Rego, who was named chairman of the unit ahead of his retirement next year.

Mr. Moore joined Aon in 1996 and worked in offices in the United States and Bermuda. Most recently, he was Bermuda-based chief broking officer in its commercial risk division.

He will lead Aon’s commercial risk solutions broking operations in Bermuda and head a team of about 85, Aon said in a statement. He will report to Brian Wanat, Aon’s commercial risk leader for North America.

Mr. Rego joined a predecessor company, Alexander & Alexander Inc., to Aon in 1986. He will retire in late 2025, the statement said.
