Lockton hires former Guy Carpenter executive

Lockton Re Tuesday named Andrew Ferrier, a former Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC managing director, as a senior broker in its San Francisco office.

Mr. Ferrier will build the Lockton Cos. LLC unit’s West Coast property/casualty business, Lockton said in a statement.

Before his role at Guy Carpenter, a Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. unit, Mr. Ferrier was an executive vice president at JLT Re, which Marsh McLennan acquired through its 2019 purchase of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group PLC.

Prior to JLT Re, he was a managing director at Aon PLC’s reinsurance brokerage division.
