CopperPoint Insurance Co. has hired Kathleen Ziegler to take over the newly created role of senior vice president, operations, the insurer announced in a statement Monday.
Ms. Ziegler will oversee business operations. She previously served as head of distribution for Blackboard U.S. Holdings Inc., an American International Group Inc.-owned insurtech firm that AIG placed into runoff in March.
She will be based in CopperPoint’s Phoenix headquarters.
