Zurich appoints Adriana Scherzinger group head of captives

Adriana Scherzinger will take up the role of group head of captives for Zurich Insurance Group Ltd., effective Sept. 1.

Ms. Scherzinger, who is currently head of alternative risk solutions, U.S. national accounts at Zurich North America, succeeds Emma Sansom, who left the Switzerland-based insurer last month.

Ms. Scherzinger will be based in Zurich and report to Vinicio Cellerini, global head of customer and distribution management, commercial insurance.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Scherzinger was regional head of international program business, commercial insurance for Zurich Latin America and before that was senior captive fronting manager for Switzerland, Spain, Middle East and Asia Pacific.
