Ryan Specialty announces more executive changes

Ryan Specialty Holdings Inc. Tuesday named Edward F. McCormack CEO of its wholesale division, Ryan Turner Specialty, succeeding Timothy W. Turner, who was named CEO of Ryan Specialty on Monday.

Mr. McCormack, who joined RT Specialty when it was formed in 2010, has been president of the division since 2016. Previously, he was chief operating officer and general counsel. The promotion is effective Oct. 1, in line with Mr. Turner’s promotion.

In addition, Brenda (Ballard) Austenfeld and Michael T. VanAcker were named co-presidents of RT Specialty, succeeding Mr. McCormack.

Ms. Austenfeld, who will also continue as president of RT National Property, joined RT Specialty in 2013 when it acquired Westrope.

Mr. VanAcker, executive vice president at RT Specialty, joined the wholesale division in 2011 from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
