Tara Hill names former Argo exec senior vice president

Tara Hill Insurance Services LLC announced Thursday that former Argo Pro executive Richard Edsall joined the program administrator as senior vice president.

Mr. Edsall will develop Tara Hill’s excess and surplus portfolio, which is focused on private management liability and miscellaneous professional liability for small to medium risks, the New York-based Ambac Financial Group Inc. unit said in its announcement.

Prior to being senior vice president at Argo Pro, Mr. Edsall was an executive at Chubb Ltd., where he managed directors and officers insurance products for financial institutions. He also held senior positions at Axcelera Specialty and American International Group Inc., Tara Hill said.

Mr. Edsall will be based in New Jersey and report to Tara Hill CEO Peter McKeegan.
