PCF hires M&A chief, general counsel

PCF Insurance Services said Thursday it has hired Brooke DeWyze as chief development officer and Adam Reed as general counsel.

Ms. DeWyze was previously chief operating officer at rival brokerage Moreton & Co. She will lead PCF’s mergers and acquisition strategy, the brokerage said in a statement.

Lehi, Utah-based PCF has been one of the most acquisitive brokerages over the past several years, but its deal pace fell in 2023.

Mr. Reed, who worked at rival Acrisure LLC from 2016 to 2020, was most recently managing principal at Reed Law Offices PLC.

Thursday’s announcement comes two months after Felix Morgan was named CEO of PCF.
