Howden reports results, hits $3 billion in 2023 revenue

London-based brokerage Howden Group Holdings Ltd. Tuesday reported 2023 revenue of £2.44 billion ($3.08 billion), a 32.7% increase over 2022.

The acquisitive brokerage, which bought U.S. reinsurance brokerage TigerRisk Partners LLC in 2022, completed 56 acquisitions in 2023, the company said in a statement.

Howden reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $982 million, a 30.2% increase over 2022.

In addition, Howden said Monday it has hired David Shalders as chief operating officer. Previously, he was COO and head of integration at the London Stock Exchange Group PLC.
