WTW launches cyber coverage for clients outside US, Britain

Willis Towers Watson PLC said Monday it has launched a cyber coverage facility for international clients headquartered outside the U.S. and Great Britain.

The International CyCore Facility covers malicious acts, non-malicious acts and technical failures. The coverage provides cyber incident response costs, including legal advice, IT forensics, data and cyber restoration, and crisis communication costs, as well as business interruption cover, WTW said in a statement.

Limits are available up to $20 million in primary coverage with a single lead insurer. Coverage is backed by a panel of Lloyd’s of London syndicates, the statement said.
