Resilience buys cybersecurity technology company

Resilience Cyber Insurance Solutions LLC said Wednesday it has acquired BreachQuest, a cybersecurity technology provider.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Augusta, Georgia-based BreachQuest provides emergency incident assistance in the event of business email compromise.

The BreachQuest platform integrates into cloud office systems and offers data breach response tools, including digital forensics analysis, San Francisco-based Resilience said in a statement.

Vishaal Hariprasad, co-founder and CEO of Resilience, said in the statement that cybercriminals are becoming smarter and faster in how they execute business email compromise.
