Higginbotham adds another Alabama broker

Higginbotham said Wednesday it has bought Fountain, Parker, Harbarger & Associates LLC, a Huntsville, Alabama-based brokerage.

Terms were not disclosed.

FPH&A has 32 employees and offers commercial and personal lines coverage. Specialties include insurance for space and technology risks, municipalities and contractors.

In November, Higginbotham bought three affiliated agencies in Alabama.

Fort Worth, Texas-based Higginbotham is the 21st largest brokerage of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s most recent ranking.
