Alliant acquires public entities agency

Alliant Insurance Services announced Tuesday it acquired Vinsa Insurance Associates, an independent property/casualty insurance agency that focuses on serving public entity organizations.

Terms of the transaction were not announced.

Lancaster, California-based Vinsa was founded in 1968 and has 11 employees.

Alliant said the acquisition of Vinsa will help expand its footprint in California.

Vinsa will be part of Alliant’s public entity division.
